How to do moderation in the basic plan of fluent community?

Hi everyone, I’m a doctor currently building a patient support platform for liver transplant care at https://livertransplanthelp.com.

I've installed FluentCommunity to create a dedicated space where patients, caregivers, and health professionals can connect, ask questions, and share insights.

As I build this out, I’d love guidance on:

  • How to grow and engage an authentic community
  • Best practices to moderate discussions and prevent spam/promotional posts
  • Features that can help maintain quality interactions (especially in the free version)

using google recaptcha is going to be a big help against bots, make everyone register to comment. As far as promotional comments, no robot or system can moderate to that level. A human is going to have to moderate comments. A slick promoter that is registered will be able to slide in a quick promotion...
