xCloud Updates Manager?

[also posted this in the xCloud Facebook community group]

Who is using it and getting all of the updates to work including "pro" plugins? I have sent a ticket to the xCloud support team as it seems none of the Pro plugins (FluentCart Pro, FluentForms Pro, Astra Pro, WP Vivid Pro, etc) are being recognized as needing updates. I have to rely on another tool or ensure I check each website. I'm disappointed in the response that I received from support "Β system relies on WordPress.org items and WP-CLI to detect and update plugins, and premium (Pro) plugins are not listed in the WordPress.org repository." So how do other services (such as ManageWP) recognize "Pro" level plugins? I would like to be able to let go of an added service if I could do them all in xCloud. Surely I'm not the only one using Pro plugins ;-)

P.S. I realize that this isn't an xCloud forum, but since it is what the Ninja team is using and recommending, I'm just trying to figure out how are Pro level plugin upgrades not being recognized.

I think it should work as they use WP-CLI commands to get the update notices.

Shahjahan JewelΒ I understand what you're saying in that it "should work" but sadly it does not. At first I thought it was just a particular plugin, but it is so far any PRO level plugin.

Janice BennettΒ thanks for the info....i already wondered if it's just me

I'm not an expert in the backend of WP plugin updates, so I can't address your technical questions. But I can share that I've seen this come up before in the xCloud FB group - and my understanding is that it's a known issue. ie. It doesn't work right now Hopefully it will eventually.

I'm currently running MainWP to manage our updates (~25 sites). ManageWP was before that. Also some other saas options. Eh. Nothing is great tbh.

Charlotte DΒ same here. I've been using ManageWP for years - and would love to be able to drop it so that I just have one spot.

Janice BennettΒ It's the dream. I'd need not only for the updates themselves to work (both pull pro plugin updates and apply all updates - another issue in play) but also multiple dashboard updates.

My bigger concern though would be the pull on my servers & on xCloud's if I lived in the dashboard like I do ManageWP.
