sub domain license
Can someone Shahjahan Jewel tell me what my single site license covers regarding sub-domains? I setup a staging site at staging.mydomain.com, and my pro licenses for all my pro versions seem to be happily working. Is this allowed? At some point this could be considered abuse if someone decides to operate 1000 websites at their domain. I can't find the official license terms for this question.
as Jorge de los Reyes said in a post: fluent plugins do not require a license while on staging. But the site needs to have specific terminations like .dev, staging., test and so.

Manuel Müller Do you know if .dev is actually one of the Fluent staging exceptions? I’m moving my .local test sites over to xCloud and I was surprised that my FCRM pro license didn’t work on the dev domain
For anyone wondering, .local is definitely excluded. 👍🏼

Charlotte D I took the reference from a post from Jewel mentioned like one year ago :)
But definitely, it could be a nice default feature to have on XCloud’s blueprints. Because, in fact, their staging sites do not always have this terms and terminations (unless you change them manually): which sometimes, not sure why… could cause the staging site not to display properly (0MB) 😅.
Also, be aware … that creating staging sites on XCloud may cause misconfigurations on the server. I’ve reported this to support but didn’t get an answer yet of why this may be happening. So… just make sure to check your server settings after creating a staging on the same server as the main site.
that being said, it’s just a matter of retrying the replication and re-adding your custom settings and you’re done in case there’s any trouble in XCloud :)

PS.: and yes. Definitely there’s a clause(s) missing regarding this on WPMN T&C. An enhancement of use of licenses would be so handy!

Jorge de los Reyes I meant to comment eariler that, yes, it really would be wonderful if the Ninjas and the xCloud teams created an easy internal (and reasonable to protect WPMN) way for the licenses to work on xCloud demo/dev sites. And thank you for sharing your very kind words.
