Recurring donations
I am helping a customer setup the possibility of receiving donations. One time or recurring. Any suggestions as to how I should go forward with this? I will likely also create a tutorial out of this.
Thank you.
Just thinking off the top of my head here, what if you create a product called "Donation" with a product variation per donation amount? The only thing you wouldn't be able to do right now is a 'pay what you want' option where a user can enter a custom amount.
Hey FC.
I am wondering if I should use Fluent Forms Pro and FluentCRM (ChatGPT suggested this) or if I should use FluentCart.
Another call it curve ball is that they want to naturally enough use a typical Norwegian mobile payment option to make it easier to pay. I have actually found out that one can use Stripe which can connect with this Norwegian payment system, so that is pretty interesting.
Paal Joachim RomdahlΒ If Stripe is important for the client then perhaps an even simpler option can be used, depending on if you really must use FluentCart for this. You could have a much simpler form (Forminator or some other forms plugin) and create payment forms that natively integrate with Stripe. Then there are actual donation plugins to consider, like GiveWP.
GiveWP is quite pricey though... π
F. C.Β I have thought about it. I do have access to the plugin but I just feel hooked on Fluent plugins as I want to explore them even more..:)
Thanks..:)
Paal Joachim RomdahlΒ I get it :)
Subscriptions are built in already so you should be able to setup recurring donations that way?
Paal Joachim Romdahl : Use Fluent Forms and, if you wish, use the AI ββto help you. It will create a form in seconds with whatever you want, and then you can refine what it has built. Here's what I tested in 2 minutes (I didn't test the final result with the AI, but I had created a form manually that worked with Fluent Forms). For payments, Stripe is free; for other payment methods, you need the pro version, I believe.
Hey Claudy ScoufyΒ
It is a good idea to use the AI feature in Fluent Forms (Pro).
I got to test this out for a donation form. Thanks for the tip..:)
And why not just use Paymattic ? https://wpmanageninja.com/products/wppayform-pro-wordpress-payments-form-builder/
AmarokSpiritΒ Yeah why not....
In the back of my mind I am thinking that the feature set of Paymattic would be added into Fluent Forms Pro. Merging Paymattic into the Fluent Forms Pro plugin (or adding the feature set into FluentCart). I might be wrong in this as I have not yet tested out Paymattic. I think it is about time I test it out... and perhaps at the same time create a tutorial for it. Thank you for the link!
Will be launching FC Partner soon. You can see if this would be the kind of thing you are looking for https://staging.cloudlesssmarthome.com/community/partners
