Question about using affiliate links on the "Buy" button in fluent cart
One of my goals is to create a store that showcases products from a partner with fluent cart. Instead of selling the products directly, I want the "Buy Now" button to function as an affiliate link. In other words, when a user clicks the button, they are not taken to my own checkout process but are instead redirected to my partner's store to complete the purchase there.
My question is: Is it possible to configure Fluent Cart so that a product's main purchase button redirects to an external/affiliate URL instead of triggering the local checkout?

There are some Woo add-ons that do this and I loooved the feature (but not Woo itself 😎 lol) - would be very cool if Fluentcart did it.

Currently no. But fluent cart and woocommerce might be overkill for this. All you need is a custom post type and custom fields. Can easily do with small snippets but if you want better functions then there are plugins that can do it. If you want maximum function then voxel theme is great.
Donald McGuinn In our case, we did use some affiliate links this way. But we also used this to link to our own products listed on Amazon POD, for example. Both kinds of products (affiliate & POD) were inter-mixed in the store with our own products that were paid for via Woo. For us, having the outbound links inside our store was incredibly complementary and useful & def not overkill.
