Paymattic: Stripe Embedded subscription: renewal payments delivered (200) but not recorded in the entry
Hi everyone,
Has anyone seen this with Paymattic Pro (4.6.20) + Stripe Embedded Checkout Field on a subscription form?
The first payment is recorded fine, but renewal charges never show up in the entry. The subscription's "Related Payments" stays at one row and "Total Payment Received" never grows.
I checked Stripe directly: the subscription is active and has actually charged multiple times (daily test plan, all invoices Paid). My Paymattic webhook endpoint (?wpf_stripe_listener=1) reports many deliveries, 0 failed, and the renewal invoice.payment_succeeded events (subscription_cycle) are Delivered with HTTP 200. So the events reach Paymattic and get a 200, but the entry is never updated.
On the exact same form, PayPal (IPN) records every renewal correctly — so it looks specific to Stripe Embedded.
Is this a known issue? Did anyone find a workaround (e.g. using the non-embedded Stripe Checkout method instead)? Thanks!
