Paymattic Country Code Picker is Broken
When a phone field is added to the form, a drop-down with country codes becomes available to preset the country code. The selection cannot be saved (at least not when selecting the US). Also, the window is so small as to be unusable (it shows two entries at a time, and scrolling down or up with a mouse wheel does not go entry by entry).
I opened a ticket a week ago, but I haven't received a response.

Edit: The issue is that I submitted to the chat on the front end of the site. I am not sure that matters. Don't contact messages get routed to the appropriate department?
