Looking through various Fluent plugins
I decided to make a video where I look through a lot of the Fluent plugins.
Focusing on the user interface (UI and UX). How the flow of elements are in relation to each other. Here is a 19 minute general overview. I believe it is helpful to compare the UI/UX of various plugins to get a feel for what should be consistent. Which user interface features work well and which does not. Using what works well across multiple plugins. https://youtu.be/fpKEY-1QT4M
EDIT...
Here is a written form of most of the general feedback that I gave.
FluentCRM. Has a very long WP left submenu. Even has hr lines between some of these. Needs to be cleaned up. Has a very good Dashboard with clear sections. Good and clear navigation in the top of the screen.
Fluent Forms. Has an Upgrade to Pro button that takes away attention from the navigation in the top. Could tighten the WP left submenu. Good overview of the (All) Forms. It gives space to notice what is on the screen.
Fluent Boards. Dashboard. A bit confusing. Navigation. A Get Pro in the middle top.
Recently Opened. My Tasks. Could be adjusted for better clarity
Fluent Support. Dashboard. Feels like an older version and could use a good update. Upgrade to Pro button is a part of the navigation. The submenu works here as it does not have a lot of items in it.
Fluent Booking. Dashboard does not give a good overview, but focuses on Events. The function of the toggle is unclear. It would likely be helpful with a separate Events screen not tied in with the Dashboard. A dashboard is meant as an overview screen. I have a client to where I plan on testing Booking and look forward to giving more feedback to the Booking plugin and how it works for me. WP left submenu works
FluentCart. Has a lot of items in the left WP submenu. Product related items to instead be added into the Products screen. Keeping information where it is most likely needed. First time going to FluentCart brings confetti and a popup with a blurred background and a Congratulations. Not happy about this. It feels totally off.
WP Social Ninja (Should rebranded to Fluent Social). Has an awesome Platforms/Dashboard screen. A very messy WP left menu submenu with yellow upgrade text, red background New button etc.
FluentSnippets. Totally ok Snippets screen. A good plugin to create code snippets.
FluentAuth. Feels tightest of all the plugins. Has a good Dashboard screen. Good navigation. It showed the needed information where it should be. Has a good focus to where my attention should go.
Fluent Community. It would be good to not use animation. I am not sure what to say about this Dashboard screen. Gaining inspiration from WP Social Ninja would be good. As this is a good information space to be even better used.
"(Should be rebranded to Fluent Social)" Couldn't agree more π
