How do you guys export individual plugins from a live site to a stagging site including settings?
Hello guys,
I really hope you know how to solve this.
I have a live site, which is running great. But it is build on many old installs, so I just found out, that it is using a lot of space on my webhosting.
So I created a new fresh install of Wordpress, and installed all my needed plugins one-by-one. This saved a lot of space!
But.
Many of my plugins dont have a export feature, to export my settings, subscribers, e-mail automations, automations in general and more. So when I install the same plugins on the stagging site, they are all fresh and with no data.
Normally, I export my complete website as a copy to a stagging position, but this time I want to start from scratch, but I really hope there is a solution, to get all my settings, subscribers and more over on the stagging site.
- Do any of you guys know, how to solve this easily?
Thanks! :)
The only clean way is to duplicate site. This way it copies everything including database. There is no other way to achieve this with all possible plugins/Themes etc
CointacterΒ Hmm okay. That will just give me a copy of the entire site, with all the bloat included. And I dont want to move the theme over as well because I want to run on a completly other theme from now on.. :)
Niki FunchΒ you said staging site is your goal. Once you copy, u can do there anything and it wont affect your main site.
Other than that, you can always start site and try to inport database of your required plugins but this can go wrong in many ways
