Fluent player beta review
Hello!
I’ve just published a new video in Spanish (also dubbed to ENG) about Fluent Player after spending time testing the beta in depth:
My main takeaway is that this is not just another video player for WordPress. It has the potential to become a real interactive video system for creators, course businesses, memberships, and anyone who wants more control over video, conversions, and monetization inside WordPress. Specially for marketing campaigns and ads, I think it’s súper powerful :)
In the video I cover what impressed me most:
- Interactive Layers
- In-video forms and CTAs
- Hotspots
- Time-based content areas
- Native ecosystem potential with FluentCRM, FluentCart, FluentBooking, and the rest of the stack
- Useful reporting and strong performance
I also shared some honest beta feedback, especially around subtitles, dynamic overlay protection, CTA timing options, and ad experience.
Hope it could be useful to share here in case the team or the community wants real user feedback from a beta tester playing around with it since the alpha :)

The auto-dub option usually takes a couple of hours. I’ll check what could have happened because I am not being able to see the video in ENG either 🙈. Maybe in a couple of hours.

Jorge de los Reyes did you turn on automatic dubbing in advanced settings on YouTube? I would like to watch in English too!

Jeff Mapes the settings are global for all the channel.
somehow, YouTube says this video is not available for dubbing unless I may be willing to upload my own dubbed audio.
I checked the requirements, and I do not know which one could be affecting this.
Hope you can enjoy it with captions though! 🙈
