Dashboard for the whole FluentTools ecosystem
Hi Jewel and team, I'm currently working with a client to migrate all their individual tools, such as ActiveCampaign, Helpspace, Trello, and others, to set up the entire FluentTools ecosystem.
Her question was: Isn't it possible to create a kind of dashboard, integrating all the plugins, so you can easily see what actions need to be taken regarding the various pillar, the Support pillar, the Community pillar, the Cart pilla, so you really know what to do.
I could come up with a workaround using FluentBOARD, by placing those actions in a specific board for each service representative. But a nice dashboard would be desirable. Is this something that could be added to the roadmap? Or does anyone have a good idea how I could set this up?
Interesting idea.
Such a dashboard would be great
It seems like it's just a +1 plugin, just some extra code and tables in the database.
Not everyone needs all the plugins right away, and those who do need them understand their purpose.
p.s.
I am a proponent of minimalism and cleanliness whenever possible.
At first, many people look at Fcom and think, "I'll make myself a social network (mainly to play around with)," but then it turns out that a whole "garland" of plugins eats up resources and users experience long loading times.
I agree, everyone decides for themselves, but please don't encourage people to create plugins and features just for the sake of it.
p.s.s.
Fcom is great in many ways thanks to its modern design, functionality, and clean code. I tested it with a minimal set of plugins, and even with one worker in OLS, it worked well. As soon as additional tools were involved (I won't compromise the names of the plugins), I had to change the settings, enable additional workers in OLS, and optimize the performance of MariaBD and PHP. - We are talking about instant loading.
I could use this on multiple sites.
Would be awesome to hace some centralized Dashboard indeed!
I have been using Dashboard switcher for a long time.
WendyΒ Perkins ShoefΒ I have taken a short look and it looks interesting.
I liked so much of what I saw and need this feature that I purchased the plugin. Thank you for sharing the link Wendy..:)
This would be great! I've done this in a workaround way by enabling the frontend featured on all of the Fluent tools that offer it. Then I created a dashboard page that is accessible only by logged-in staff members which has buttons with links to each Fluent tool that open in a new browser tab.
