Beta testing FluentPlayer β€” share your questions and use cases!

Hey everyone!

I'm about to start testing it. For those who haven't seen it yet, it's a new WordPress video player that supports YouTube, Vimeo, Bunny Stream and more, all in one place.

Looks promising!

I'm planning to test it with my actual workflow (YouTube embeds, course content, sales landing pages) and share my findings here and with the team.

If you have specific questions, use cases you'd like tested, or features you're curious about, drop them below and I'll try to cover them during testing and maybe on a video too :)

Looking forward to seeing what this can do!

Marketers will love it! - Especially the reports section! (really, FluentCart alike!)

Are you testing the multi language feature?

J VΒ sure. I’ll give it a try πŸ˜„. I tried that on the first beta version so I guess it will work as nicely. But I’m curious to know if there is any enhancement!

J V

Jorge de los ReyesΒ You have a headstart on me then. Sadly at the moment I am a little overbooked and have too little time to dig deep.
I am hoping there is a way to use separate audio files only (one video + multiple audio)

J VΒ I can already confirm that: I tried that on the first beta :)

J V

Jorge de los ReyesΒ Give me a hint on the how?

J VΒ you basically upload different audio files for each language. Like when you upload caption files. It works really similar πŸ˜„

This was β€œlocal” and I can’t remember if there is an option for cloud storage for this. So here could be one of this thinks to revisit soon!

The β€œissue” I find here, is the costs for dubbing. Not fluent player related, of course. But something to take into account.

I know some partnerings are cooking for having this at a nice price, and there are also many AI providers for this.

But thinking of automating this, I think that point could be a nice addition for future updates :)

J V

Jorge de los ReyesΒ I have the files, but where to connect them is the big question. Also I cannot choose my languages as they are not available.

Dubbing is not an issue here. I already had my practice and it works with Plyr. ;)

Karl Emil Nikka

Jorge de los ReyesΒ Speaking of multi-language, check if you can add captions to YouTube videos (currently not possible with Plyr).

Karl Emil NikkaΒ Noted!

Manuel MΓΌller

Jorge de los ReyesΒ if only there weren't other people waiting for the beta version, too πŸ˜‚

Manuel Müller it will be worth the wait! 😎

As I mentioned months ago, the β€œalpha” was actually better than some production alternatives!

So this is another example of how much care they are putting on this!

I guess FCRM 3.0 release, plus all the last updates are keeping the teams more busy than usual this last months πŸ˜„

How'd you get access? I've been on the waiting list forever it seems.
