Add-on Clutter

Maybe it's just me....In my opinion, the default fluent*** spaces are becoming cluttered with add-ons and their ads...while these add-ons are welcome as a plus to the popularity of fluent plugins and to extend functionality, they are becoming a nuisance. Shahjahan Jewel I suggest a dedicated space for all add-ons to market / and post their updates...and let the WPMN plugin spaces be restricted to related questions and updates.

Erick Laureano

I think the same

David Churchill

I am guilty of this (sorry) and agree it might make sense to have a dedicated Space for 3rd party add-ons?

Gavin

Everyone wins with a dedicated space anyway. No brainer Shahjahan Jewel

Claudy ScoufyΒ they never answer anything. I’m getting FC fatigue I swear

Bryan William

I never installed any 3rd party add-on... Whatever Jewel recommend is what I install.

Shahjahan JewelΒ himself doesn't seem opposed to third-party development. But by creating a dedicated space, WPMN could also accredit or deny membership in such a group (with, of course, a slight increase in workload...), they would have an eye on the comments and thus have a "guarantee" of seriousness.

Sascha Leem

I would prefer third-party developers to manage their own communities rather than overcrowding the WPManageNinja community. Brief announcements about new extensions and their respective releases are, of course, perfectly fine.

David Churchill

Sascha LeemΒ agree, I do and think most other 3rd-party developers do to, but letting people know about our products is difficult. Going forward I'm going to try and limit any promotion, maybe once a month if there's anything new to mention πŸ™
