issues with Zoom and calendar synchronization after the latest updates
Hi everyone,
is anyone else experiencing issues with Zoom and calendar synchronization after the latest updates?
In our case:
- Zoom is connected correctly.
- The booking location is set to βVideo Zoomβ.
- Bookings are created and confirmation emails are sent.
- However, no Zoom meeting link is generated.
- Calendar synchronization also seems not to work correctly.
- We already disconnected and reconnected the calendar, but nothing changed.
- Existing calendar events do not seem to block availability correctly.
- This can result in multiple bookings being accepted for time slots that should already be unavailable.
The biggest problem is that we now have several upcoming appointments that require a Zoom call, but there is no Zoom link attached to them.
The integrations appear as connected, but it looks like no real synchronization or Zoom meeting creation is happening.
Has anyone else had the same issue recently, especially after the latest updates? If yes, did you find a workaround or solution?
Thanks.
Edoardo GuzziΒ We couldn't re-create the issue. Could you please create a support ticket?
Raiyan MarzanΒ yes i have open the ticket #179106
Raiyan MarzanΒ We are still investigating the issue with support, but at the moment the ticket is a bit stuck.
What we know so far:
- an older booking calendar is currently working correctly;
- Zoom meetings are being generated again;
- Apple Calendar sync is working on that calendar;
- booking emails are also being sent;
- the problematic calendar was created by duplicating the older working calendar;
- in the meantime, we also disconnected and reconnected the existing integrations, so it is possible that this restored part of the functionality.
One important detail: we did not create a new Zoom app and we did not change the scopes. We simply reconnected the same existing Zoom integration, and it started working again on the older calendar.
Support tested with their own Zoom and Apple accounts and confirmed that the plugin works on the site in general, but we still do not have a clear explanation for why the duplicated calendar behaved differently or whether reconnecting the integrations actually fixed the underlying issue.
We are now testing the duplicated calendar again after reconnecting everything.
Has anyone experienced similar behaviour after duplicating a booking calendar, especially with Zoom, Apple Calendar or email notifications?
