Group booking for Zoom event

Hi everyone! I'm trying to set up a Zoom event, here in FluentBooking. I've watched several videos and still can't seem to figure it out or what I could be doing wrong, help please.

Are you able to say more about what you can't figure out? I struggled with the group booking feature recently, but mine was regarding the number of spaces available. I was able to connect it to Zoom. But perhaps if you could explain more what you can't figure out would help. Depending on that, I may be able to help.

Janice Bennett,Β thanks for your response. Sure, the issue I've been having is isolating a specific date for the one-day webinar. I get a "no availability" message, and it's greyed out. In the "availability settings," I select a single date and have the surrounding days as unavailable.

Curtis BrooksΒ Ah yes! I recall fighting with that in my settings as well. I figured out a work-around - although I do not know if this is a best practice or not. But what I ended up doing was creating a new "Calendar" and then selected "One off events". (image 1)

As you can see be careful what you name it as it will use that information as your slug for your calendar. But this was the way in which I could do it without it being connected to my google calendar. As for availability, I then entered the date/time that was available for the event and turned off the reserve times setting. I turned that off I believe because I had 8 spots that I was testing and wanted to be sure. It may or may not be necessary for what you're trying to achieve. (image 2)

On the booking page, there is no calendar, just the fields to fill in. (image 3)

Hopefully that helps.

Oh - I forgot - I did also get it to work with a one to many under my regular calendar, but the problem that I ran into is if I had put a place holder in there for me, it wouldn't show any availability - so I found that I could be at risk of accidentally showing a time not available when it was. Also I didn't really need the person registering to have to click the date/time in order to reserve since it was a set date/time for everyone.

Also, for the max invitees per spot you will need to input a maximum number, so make it high if it's unlimited.

Janice Bennett, thank you so much for taking the time to respond and put this together for me. This is very helpful. I really appreciate it!!!

Curtis BrooksΒ you're welcome!
