  1. "Add your FluentBooking to WordPress frontend / any Page via Shortcode" - not in DIVI page builder code modul - error 😮‍💨

  2. Is it possible to make bookings in the backend as an administrator?

  3. The redirect URL is entered in the advanced settings, but it doesn't work for "canceled appointments". 😮‍💨

    Thanks, Frank

A few days ago, I purchased the license and immediately got to work.
I uploaded the plugin, entered my license key, and started configuring everything for 1-on-1 meetings.

So far, everything works — almost. Here's the problem I’m facing:

  1. As the host, I do receive an email every time someone books a meeting with me. That’s perfect, and I’ve set it to require manual approval from my side.
  2. But after I approve the meeting, the client doesn’t get any confirmation email at all.
No notification, no info, nothing — even though logically, they should be informed that the booking was accepted.

Can anyone here please help me? 🙏
Maybe you’ve experienced this or know how to solve it? If you could even share a short video tutorial or step-by-step explanation, I’d be super grateful.

Here’s some extra info that might help:

  • I’m using the latest version of WordPress
  • Email notifications to me (admin) are working fine
  • I checked the Email Settings inside Fluent Booking — everything looks okay
  • The client’s email address is correct
  • No email in spam/junk folder

P.S. I’m using a hosting provider from Austria called World4You.
I’m not sure if SMTP is correctly set up or active on my website.
If someone knows how to check that or what settings I might need, please let me know 🙏

Thanks so much in advance to anyone who can help!
This community rocks 💚

All the best,
Florian

2 use cases:

  • increase leads, e.g. "Book by Friday and get 30% off your next treatment with this coupon".
  • sell gift vouchers on the site, perhaps via FluentForm (we do this now for Amelia Booking + some help from OttoKit)

Is this on the roadmap? If not ... could it be considered?

Hi there.
I did not buy the booking plugin when it was launched, but am considering it now, if I somehow can make the following happen.

Each user has his/hers own calendar and is able to book specific ressources at specific date/time in their own calendar.

Each user is only allowed to see a subset of ressources, so they are only able to book their own resources.

Every time a booking is created, another user (site owner) must approve / confirm that the booking is ok.

Notifications / confirmations via emails.

Is this possible in fluent booking?

Is this possible with Fluent Booking?

Please consider supporting or integrating with CalDAV-based online calendars.

At the moment, only and Nextcloud-based calendars using this protocol are supported, but there's a growing need for broader CalDAV integration, and here’s why:

Many hosting providers - especially those offering cPanel - include CalDAV (and CardDAV for contacts) as part of their webmail solutions. Each user with a custom mail account on platforms like cPanel/Roundcube would benefit from seamless integration with CalDAV calendars.

In addition, widely used business mail servers such as Communigate, Kerio Mail, Open-XChange, and Zimbra also offer CalDAV-based calendars. These solutions are increasingly popular among local authorities & governments, SMEs, and organizations seeking alternatives to Google or Microsoft services - especially within the EU, where data privacy is a major concern.

Using CalDAV-based calendars enhances privacy by keeping user data off US-based platforms, supports native integration with desktop and mobile calendar apps through open protocols, and typically includes key groupware features such as sharing and notifications.

Supporting standard CalDAV would not only expand compatibility across a wide range of platforms but also align with growing demand for open, privacy-focused alternatives.

As far as I know, none of the other calendly-alternatives - I already evaluated Amelia, Bookly, BookingPress, Booknetic, LatePoint, MotoPress Appt. Booking and Timetics) - support generic CalDAV, so I'm sure this integration would definitely help you grow your user-base as well :)

Tout d'abord super boulot sur la dernière mise à jour. Serait-il possible de faire de même côté client ?
L'idée serait de proposer la vue calendrier sur les pages d'attérissage un peu comme The Event Calendar.

Would love to see a way to create scannable event tickets that scan attendance on events, and also reporting so we can see who was actually at the event

I don't see an option to reschedule from the backend. When I click reschedule on a particular meeting it sends me to the regular reschedule link in the frontend, as if the guest is trying to reschedule. Also, in that option - I can't choose a date/time that's not available in the calendar (but I know my schedule and I would like to be able to do that).

So in short - an admin option to reschedule in the backend would be very useful.

Are there plans to allow booking appointments that go past midnight? Example: Booking timeslot starting at 11:30PM that ends at 1AM. Thanks.
