I like to reward affiliates based on performance.
Multi tier
All affiliates start with a base commission of 10%. Once they reach $2000 in sells, then they are bumped to 20% commission, then once they reach $5000 in sells then they are bumped to 30% commission.
MLM
Joe gets 10% from Sally's sells
Sally gets 5% from John's sells
John gets 3% from his downline sells
This will motivate affiliates to get other affiliates to signup, then earn from their downline and this is a win for everyone, even the last affiliate will earn a little bit for the effort they make π π

Jorge de los ReyesΒ I also urge FA to take a close look at other popular affiliate plugins as there are many core features such as this that can be added. Features that help affiliates make more money should always be on the table for consideration π

The Basic-Commission = 20% (direct commisson for own referrals/sales)
1st Line-Commission = 10%
2nd Line-Commission = 10%
3rd Line-Commission = 5%
4th Line-Commission = 3%
5th Line-Commission = 2%
a) The option to create lines free (up to 10 lines) with free definition of commissions.
b) The option to create a forced matrix (eg. 3x3) - when the 4th affiliate is "sponsored" he would be placed automatically (via spillover) on the 2nd line (symetrically from left to right)
c) The option to create a classic "break-away" matrix (not limited how much 1st-line affiliates everybody sponsoring).
d) The option to limit the deepness of the orga-structure (eg. 3 or 5 levels).
e) The option to create automatically a second branch, when the first matrix is complete.
f) The option when a affiliate get's worse or inactive in the structure, to release his "downline" to his next upline-affiliate or any other affiliate.
g) The option to show the downline in the affiliate dashboard as list or tree - and the same in the admin dashboard.
h) The option to show or show not some infos in the tree, eg. profile-picture, e-mail, rank, phone, sales, etc.
i) The option to create a rank-system (eg. bronce, silver, gold, platinum, ruby, saphire, diamond)
Eg. bronce = 5 successfull sales, silver = 10 successfull sales
or
bronce = $5.000,- in sales, silver = $10.000,- in sales ... etc.
j) The option to create a monthly qualifying-frame, eg. when a affiliate reached 5 sales or $5.000,- in the running month DIRECTLY on his own ID, he get's a 5% Extra-Bonus and reached the rank: BRONCE -- when he reached 10 sales or $10.000,- he get's a 10% Extra-Bonus and reached the rank: SILVER etc.
The qualiyfing-frame begins eg. on every 1st day and ends on the last day of the month.
