How will Fluent Affiliate work with FluentCart?

And also the launch of this 2 projects.
The Integration between FluentCart and FluentAffiliate will be freely available. But there will be some advanced features in FluentAffiliate (Affiliate Managed side) which will be in the pro. We will have all the features it needs to make your Affiliate Platform perform better.
Shahjahan Jewel just an idea. If we have Fluent Cart, Affiliate, and Community integrated, could we first apply discounts to their community subscriptions? Then, once their subscription cost reaches $0, any additional amount would start paying out to affiliates?

One feature that would differentiate you from AffiliateWP would be the ability to support sub-domains. Primary website on domain.com, fluentaffiliate on affiliates.domain.com, while supporting fluentcart on shop.domain.com - I've become so Jaded by Shopify and WooCommerce that I cannot recommend to any of my clients running eCommerce functionality on top level domain.com - AffiliateWP and Shopify affiliate plugins cannot support this. If FluentCart and FluentAffiliate could run fast on same subdomain that would be awesome.
Richard Roy is this even possible today with any other fluent products? Shahjahan Jewel ? Or you will need one license for domain, and another one for subdomains?
Richard Roy In general there are no limits for installing Fluent plugins on a Wordpress instance which is configured on a domain or a subdomain.
We can install many separate Wordpress instances and configure them on different domains and subdomains variances:

myDomain.com (apex, naked domain, non-www) - single WP instance

www.myDomain.com (www subdomain can be attached to a separate WP instance, other then the instance with naked non-www domain).
Note: "WWW" host is usually a CNAME resource record (DNS) redirecting to the apex/naked domain

community,myDomain.com
crm.myDomain.com
are three separate hostnames/subdomains and can be linked to three separete WP instances
BTW: we could also have a fancy subdomain: do.you.like.myDomain.com address configured with a separate WP instance however it might be very confusing address and it will be hard to remember etc.
When it comes to licensing, one active Fluent license is counted against each Wordpress instance with a small exception:
- dev and staging sites are not counted against additional licenses
These are treated as dev site:
'dev.', '.staging.', '.test.', 'staging-*.'
If you have one single fLicense (lets say: fCart) you can activate it with one production site (Wordpress instance) under myDomain.com or shop.mydomain.com - no matter if you choose apex/naked domain or a subdomain for it.
At the same your Fluent single license that was used in the production site (domain OR subdomain) can be used and activated under DEV.myDomain.com (it is a separate WP instance but the address is limited to a specific hosts/names) etc.
When you have three separate fProduct licenses:

shop.myDomain.com
you can have 3 production sites - each site (subdomain) use 1x license dedicated to that specific site/fLicense (configured either with domain or subdomain) AND at the same time one or many developers/stagings sites can also have activated your single Fluent license for each product

PS. you could have 2 production sites and install PRO plugins on a separate domains but only one production site can have the single License activated and the other production site needs to have the same Single license deactivated (once the license key is deactivsted on a site you can keep current PRO features working however you wont be able to modify any PRO features without active license key - this is how it usually works with licenses.
PS. As we know when someone decide to install each fProduct on a separate WP instance/domain/subdomain then will need to manage multi Wordpress instances separatelly and also will need to find a way how can utilize fCRM (ex: users sync) to manage other Wordpress instances (installed on a different subdomains) - by default those other WP instances are not connected to your fCRM.

Mat - Thanks for reply Mat. I'm tracking with you. Every installation I've done with AffiliateWP, WooCommerce, the site would still be slow after speed tweaks. I'd love to see or have the ability to run any affiliate program on a separate subdomain vs domain / subdomain where the shopping cart is. I'm hopeful to see and test integration of FluentAffiliate and FluentCart. If they both work together without bogging site down it could be a huge win for any of us building out e-Commerce sites with an affiliate program.
Richard Roy why have you become jaded by shopify and woocommerce?
Woocommerce has become slow and bloated. I’ve never been happy since purchased by wordpress.com and integrating with a wordpress.com account. Add affiliatewp and a few more features and woocommerce crawls…even after speed tweaks. For all the accolades shopify gets you have similar issues with plugin conflicts and shopify goes down regularly including the backend. I’m not jaded, i’m looking for a better solution. Thus far, team ninja continues to impress me with their innovation.
