Finally tested the beta: all my remarks for this incredible plugin

  • The design is fantastic, unbelievable. I was using SliceWP before this and couldn't understand what was happening most of the time because the design there was dated and disorganised. Here at Fluent it's mind-blowing. It brings clarity and visibility to the dashboard and makes everything straightforward and intuitive even for noobs and beginners.
  • Love how it syncs even with subscription plugins. I don't use them myself, and plan on switching to fluentcart when it'll come out, but the diversity in compatibility is a plus.
  • The register/log in form: the only issue so far is with the register form in terms of aesthetic. It's impossible to edit it beyond the fields (I mean edit the appearance/css). You can't change the register or log in button to match the site colours, you can change the background or font, you can't change the size of the fields, etc. The text is quite dark for the register field, and as someone who uses a dark background, that makes the text difficult to read. More flexibility in editing the design would be good. It would make the affiliate program actually look professional.
  • Payment methods: can I pay affiliates with something other than Paypal? I don't know what some may request, but I feel that Paypal as the only option may be a little limited.
  • Verification Code: being able to send it twice would be good. While using the beta on a staging site, I didn't receive the email at all. I tested it with two emails, still didn't receive it.
  • Manually adding affiliates: It isn't possible to circumvent the previous issue by manually adding an affiliate either and that's a bit irksome. A user would have to create an account in general, which is less practical.
  • No option for affiliates to change their account password: when logging in through the affiliate area (the page set with the shortcode), if the user wants to change their password if they don't remember, they can't.

Beyond this, I do have a few questions on how this works, but I will personally open a ticket or check the documentation when it comes out.

Thanks erisfΒ for the detailed feedback. Already forwarded to the team. I will comment on a few points:

  • The register/log in form: Yes, we need improvement on that. If you use FluentAuth, then the forms will be inherited from FluentAuth for better security. Will add resend verification code functionality to the FluentAuth plugin.
  • Payment methods:Β This is a tricky business. We have plan to directly integrate with PayPal Payout API. We also watching Stripe's upcoming API for payout. In the next month, we will add custom payment method support so you can export the payouts and send with your local payment system of your choice.
  • Manually adding affiliates: An affiliate account requires a WP User account so you can add an existing user as an affiliate.
  • Password Change: We did not add that feature to your eCommerce plugin already have that password reset feature.

Yes, regarding manually adding affiliates you can already existing users, but you'd have to add a brand new user in general manually then to do that, and for the changing password feature being available via ecommerce (will it be available with fluentcart?), but it would be easier if it was directly available in the form, as most users/affiliates are not going to know what to do if it's not directly available on the login page.
