A counter be placed on the admin menu, with the number of "pending" affiliates, so they dont get forgotten.
Absolutely, my current affiliate plugin does not alert me of pending affiliates, nor do I get notified via email. Some sort of affiliate pending alert and notification is a must.
Agree. People go into pending until they agree to the terms of the community on a form, in a separate page. General terms & conditions will not suffice because we want them to acknowledge multiple things by manually checking the checkboxes. We at least increase the chances of people actually reading the guidelines for the community this way (similar to how when you join a Facebook group there is a separate dialog for the group guidelines)
