Commission Holding Period
i didn't find a "Commission Holding Period"-Setting, which i think is really important.
The Commission Holding Period is a feature that allows you to delay paying affiliate commissions for a set number of days after a referral is made. This helps protect your business from issues like refunds, chargebacks, or fraud, ensuring that affiliates are only paid for finalized sales.
It seems the standard holding period is 60 days. There's no setting to change this date. Hopefully it's in their roadmap
Yvonne Yee Shahjahan Jewel Yes this is important. With AffiliateWP, we do payouts 15 days after the end of each month, which kind of covers us given the statutory refund period of 14 days. It's also standard in our industry.
BUT it does not cover us when we do a discretionary refund after that time, and AffWP does not have a facility to charge a negative commission to the next payout. This would be a good feature..
