Can FluentAffiliate be used for manual royalty tracking?

Hi! I’m wondering if FluentAffiliate can be adapted to manually track book sales and calculate royalties for authors. As a publisher, I’d enter sales data from various sources (Amazon, bookstores, direct sales, returns, etc.), rather than using typical affiliate links. Ideally, authors could log in, view sales by book and format, and see their projected royalties. FluentAffiliate seems to have the core features I’m looking for, but I’d be using it a bit differently than intended. Is this kind of setup possible?

This is what im going to use it for on a clients site. They do referrals for work (contractor work) and they are going to manually input referrals when someone refers another person to them and mentions them. then add their referrals, assign a value and then payout when they want to. It can do it from what I have tested.

Donald McGuinn Okay, great! Thank you for letting me know you're doing something similar and that it could theoretically work that way. I still hope to have an official answer from the dev team, but this is definitely encouraging.
