Feature Request: CC or 2nd Email Address

It would be awesome to have a cc field or ability to add a 2nd email address to a support ticket. I understand why there is currently only a field for a single email address.

Many times with my support requests I'm working with at least two people or there is someone I need to cc on a support request. Having that ability be awesome unless there is a work-around I'm unaware of.

Without that, could you use a distribution list for the email so replies go to a group?

William BeemΒ Distribution email list is only available with FluentCRM. Broadcast type emails aren't really the norm for Customer Support.

William Beem

Rasel SiddiqeΒ Yes, you would create the distribution list in FluentCRM or some other email service. That creates a single email address you insert into the field in Fluent Support, which then send the email to everyone on the list. That's effectively the same result as the CC field.

You can add CC to tickets that were created through email piping. How to Add Email CC in 1.7.0

I would much prefer to have a facility to allow the participation of more than two people on a support ticket thread. I sometime have the need to communicate with 3 or 4 people on an issue and everyone involved should be able to receive notifications and leave comments.

Also, i have asked to have a BCc field option added - and/or the ability to set a second email that gets all relies BCC automatically.

The Add Cc only gives minor help, you have to click the button, then manually add an email every time. I need to copy (Bcc) my partner on every reply - i had to create an extra email that gets forwarded to his personal account. Our previous system had the options to add extra emails (in setting's) that would be Bcc on every reply. If this is not possible, there should also be a Bcc option an the email field could be populated by selecting an agent or searching. It is very clumsy as is.
