Video Playback Quality
Thank you for FluentPlayer, it is amazing.
I host my videos on Vimeo. For Vimeo and also YouTube videos, in their native video players there is a Quality option that is usually set to Auto by default, however a user can change the video resolution if they need to.
How does FluentPlayer handle video quality resolution, is it always Auto by default?
What happens if a users streaming bandwidth changes during a viewing, and they want to adjust the resolution?
Will FluentPlayer also be able to have a Quality selection option in the future?

If this can get in practice, not even BunnyNet/Stream can remain in business 😂. Technically, may not be possible to enable this option, unless otherwise....Cc Nayan Das
Stefan Now for Vimeo and YouTube, FluentPlayer does not expose the native provider Quality selector and does not set a fixed resolution. It passes the source into Vidstack/FluentPlayer’s custom UI, so playback quality is effectively left to Vimeo/YouTube’s own adaptive “Auto” behavior.
The explicit FluentPlayer Quality menu is only rendered for HLS-style sources: Bunny, Mux, mux_stream.
So if bandwidth changes during viewing:
Vimeo/YouTube in FluentPlayer: Vimeo/YouTube choose/adapt quality automatically. The viewer does not get a FluentPlayer resolution picker to force 720p, 1080p, etc.
HLS/Bunny/Mux: Auto is handled by the streaming engine, and the viewer can manually choose a rendition from FluentPlayer’s Quality menu, then switch back to Auto.
Furthermore, our R&D team will evaluate this suggestion and explore opportunities to improve this functionality in future releases.
