You are gonna love this, and I would love to see this happen in fluent forms...
One feature I'd absolutely love to see in Fluent Forms is the ability to create dedicated landing pages for multi-step forms, with a persistent step navigation displayed on the left side, similar to many modern onboarding flows.
Something like this mockup:
Why I think this would be valuable:

It immediately gives users context about where they are in the process.

Long forms feel much less overwhelming.

It creates a much more polished and premium experience.

Perfect for onboarding, applications, KYC, client intake, insurance, banking, HR, memberships, consultations... basically any workflow that spans multiple steps.
This will also be beautiful for community onboarding...
Some ideas that could make it even better:
- Optional vertical or horizontal progress navigation.
- Clickable or locked future steps (configurable).
- Custom icons for each step.
- Ability to show completed/current/upcoming states.
- Responsive behavior on mobile (collapse into a progress indicator).
- Full landing-page mode without relying on the active WordPress theme layout.
I quickly mocked up an example to illustrate the concept. (The content itself is just placeholder text -the important part is the overall layout and navigation.)
Is something like this already possible and I've simply missed it? If not, I think it would be a fantastic addition to Fluent Forms.

After spending some more time testing Fluent Forms, I realized that this is actually already partially possible using the built-in vertical step navigation in Landing Pages.
However, I think there is still a great opportunity to improve the overall UX.
At the moment, the layout feels more like the standard form components have simply been placed next to each other. It works, but it doesn't quite achieve the polished onboarding experience that modern SaaS applications, banks, or client portals provide.
I even spent some time experimenting with custom CSS to see how far I could push the current implementation. While it can certainly be improved, it also made me think that a dedicated "Onboarding Layout" could provide a much cleaner and more consistent experience out of the box.
In other words, I don't think new functionality is necessarily required: the underlying logic is already there. This feels more like an opportunity to introduce a premium layout preset specifically designed for onboarding and multi-step application flows.
As you can see, it doesn't look as polished as on the mock up and custom CSS and so does not seem to work well 😅

Shahjahan Jewel I also think that some kind of integration with FluentAuth could be incredibly valuable: not just for Landing Pages, but for Fluent Forms in general.
For example:
- Ask the user for their email address.
- Send a one-time verification code.
- Verify the email before allowing them to continue with the registration or application.
This creates a real-time email verification flow, similar to a seamless double opt-in. It's a pattern that's very common in industries where identity and data quality matter, such as finance, legal services, insurance, healthcare, HR, and membership platforms.

The onboarding layout I shared isn't native, and it's certainly not perfect, but I was able to get surprisingly close just by experimenting with Fluent Forms and a bit of custom CSS. That really shows how powerful and flexible the plugin already is.
In my opinion, Fluent Forms is by far the most complete form builder available for WordPress today.
If you'd ever like additional feedback or ideas around onboarding experiences, I'd be more than happy to help. I spend a lot of time working with these kinds of workflows for client onboarding, memberships, employee onboarding, communities, legal services, insurance, and similar use cases, so I'd be glad to share practical suggestions.
And... I have a feeling this could also fit very nicely with the upcoming FMembers? 😄

As I mentioned before, every time I play around with Fluent Forms, I'm even more surprised by how flexible it is.
That said, I think having some kind of gallery of these premium overlays would make the feature much more accessible for users who aren't comfortable adding custom code. 😀
