Fluent Forms 6.2.3 is here 🎉
We’ve rolled out Fluent Forms 6.2.3 for both Free and Pro, bringing smoother form building, better entry management, improved accessibility, and powerful new Pro features.
- Step Tab Navigation: multi-step forms finally get clickable tabs (Top or Left layout) instead of just that linear progress bar. If you've ever built a long application form, you'll get why this was overdue.
- Ranking field: drag-to-rank, works in quizzes, plays nice with the Reports module out of the box. Been a top request forever.
- Image cropping on uploads: set a ratio (1:1, 4:3, anything custom) or exact dimensions, and the respondent crops before the file ever hits your entries. No more wonky profile pics. Server-side validated too, so it's not just frontend window dressing.
- PayPal Checkout v2: we migrated the entire PayPal path to the new Orders + Subscriptions v2 APIs with proper webhook signature verification. Existing forms keep working, no reconfig. PayPal's been deprecating the old endpoints, so this gets everyone safely onto the supported path. Your legacy API will still work.
- Pretty share URLs: landing pages and conversational form share links are now clean slugs instead of
?fluent-form=42&token=.... Way better for QR codes and printed material. - Dropdown option grouping: toggle on grouping for Dropdown / Multi-Select, label your clusters, ships native
<optgroup>on the frontend. Great for country lists, product catalogs, anything taxonomy-heavy. - HubSpot moved to CRM v3 + Lists v3: the old endpoints are gone. Existing feeds keep working via a legacy mapping layer, and errors now show the actual API response instead of a generic "failed".
- Security Improvements on save-and-resume form entries.

Is it me or is ranking field missing? 🤔 Can not find it after upgrade

Pretty URL will not save :-( After refreshing the page, togle disables itself

Shahjahan Jewel Great update, thanks! I love the new tabs for steps, but I can't see how to enable it. I have page breaks between each step, but the progress at the top is still linear. Do we have to change anything in the settings to get these tabs? That's a great improvement for long forms, thanks again. [EDIT: found it, it's in the PAGING START block at the top.]
Shahjahan Jewel Lukman Nakib Two things:
1) The tabs feature is great, but it doesn't allow the user to see the content of each tab if they haven't filled in the mandatory answers in the previous tabs, so they can't display tab 2 until they have properly filled in tab 1. Would it be possible to override that, so that a user can look at all the tabs in a long form before starting to answer? That way they can get a sense of the information they need to gather before starting to fill in the form. In other words, disconnect tabs navigation from answers checks (but keep the enforcement for the next or save & continue button and the submit form of course). That would be really useful.
2) Also, enabling "save and continue" doesn't seem to be working, the NEXT button still shows.

Lukman Nakib yes, I loved many of the new features. Did you see my point #2? It looks like it might be a bug.
Screenplay Unlimited I have a similar need. I want to have required fields on multiple tabs, but I want users to be able to navigate back and forth between all tabs without first having to answer a required field on a previous tab. They just need to complete required fields before submitting the form.

Permanently deletes old attachments from the Media Library after the form is submitted. Enable only if these files are not used anywhere else.Are there also plans for fluent?
