Fluent Forms 6.1 is Here with some exciting features

We're excited to announce Fluent Forms 6.1! This release brings some fantastic new features alongside a major focus on stability and reliability - we've tackled a substantial number of bug fixes to make your form building experience smoother than ever.

What's New
  • Enhanced Reporting SystemΒ - The new Fluent Forms Report module comes with additional report components, giving you better insights into your form performance and analytics.
  • Smart Address AutocompleteΒ - HTML5 geolocation now powers address field autocomplete, making location-based form filling more convenient for your users.
  • Improved Save & Resume SecurityΒ - Save and Resume links now support one-time use functionality for enhanced form security.
  • Better WorkflowΒ - New keyboard shortcuts for deleting input fields in the editor, plus latitude/longitude support in shortcodes for developers.

Major Stability Improvements

Here's where this release really shines - we've addressed dozens of issues to make Fluent Forms more reliable:

  • Step Forms: Fixed flickering on mobile, conditional logic issues, and field population problems
  • Payment Processing: Resolved Square Payment currency handling, Mollie status updates, and coupon calculations
  • Form Fields: Enhanced Star Rating, Dropdown retention, Range Slider functionality, and Checkable Grid validation
  • Conversational Forms: Better GDPR implementation, scroll functionality, and address autocomplete
  • Security & Performance: Addressed vulnerability issues and improved database handling
Enhanced User Experience

Beyond the fixes, we've improved phone field responsiveness, step form rendering, export functionality, and IP detection. Plus, better consistency across settings and notifications.

Thank you for everything, Shahjahan JewelΒ

Awesome!

Nick Fitters

I was hoping the offline payments e-mail notifications would be added. But unfortunately this functionality didn't make it in this major release. Maybe a little reminder for the development team :) Realy waiting on this feature.

Rahul Das

Nick FittersΒ Hello, it is already in our radar and our team is working on this. I hope it'll be merged in the upcoming update.

Nick Fitters

Rahul DasΒ great! Thank you

Lukman Nakib

Nick FittersΒ It been added to latest version

Urgent: The Phone validation is bugging with Fluent Forms Pro 6.1, please fix it!

Alexander ReznikΒ can you share more details please

Shahjahan JewelΒ
#1 Although the Phonenumber is 100% correct/valid it does not approve
#2 The Styling is also messed up (6.1 was not glitching)

Thank you for your quick response

Alexander ReznikΒ I have notified the team. Can you check if it’s a caching issue or not. My team is also checking as a high priority

Shahjahan JewelΒ Thank you,
I cleared every cache, even serverside und also regenerated CSS via. Elementor. Same Issue unfortunately.

Lukman Nakib

Alexander ReznikΒ Fixed and released

Alexander ReznikΒ I can confirm this is happening. They styling is messed up with a red background

Lukman Nakib

Oscar ContrerasΒ Can you share a screenshot and the version of your both plugin

Lukman NakibΒ Sure. Version is 6.1.2. I've just updated the pro version. And still it is showing this red background.

Uh oh. When updated to 6.1.2 my site crashed. Need to revert.

Checked with my admin at Rocket.net. There is a problem with the code on 6.1.2, and when installing the update (pro-version) the site crashes on the Admin Area. Not in the front end.

Lukman Nakib

Oscar ContrerasΒ can your share an staging site access in a support ticket I will help you to resolve the issue

What does the new "conversational forms scroll to top option" feature do?

Lukman Nakib

The phone field issue is fixed , we will release an fix soon,

Lukman NakibΒ thanks a lot, you guys are awesome!! πŸ™Œ

Just two small things I’d love to suggest:

  1. Padding between the title and first/last name field feels a bit tight.
  2. A β€œmulti-field per step” option (like Typeform’s Multi-Question Page) would help a ton. It makes the flow smoother: people answer questions step-by-step and only add Name/Email/Phone at the end β†’ way less friction + better completion rates. Keep up the great work! You’re making WordPress valuable for marketers like no other team. πŸš€

Alexander ReznikΒ Lukman Nakib Shahjahan Jewel Yes I also would love to see multi-fields per step!

Brian Graf

Great release! Reminder that saving form file uploads to Google Drive would be AMAZING next release! :)

Elvis Plaku

Love it! Great job guys, you keep us motivated to keep using it more.

Updated to 6.1.3 on another site just to avoid critical errors. This update works well, but still, it is adding an unwanted color on the background of the phone flags. This happens when I HOVER on it. Any CSS rule that I can use while this is still being solved? It doesn't look good.

Jeff Mapes

Oscar ContrerasΒ this may be a clue. I used this to remove the choice of changing country at all, which I believe should be a on/off switch in configuration, but it's not. I am in the US and won't be calling other countries. I applied through fluent snippets, only to my contact page.

.svelte-select.fcal_country_select.invalid.svelte-82qwg8 {
pointer-events: none !important;
}

I skimmed over the reporting feature in this announcement. But when I discovered the new reports in my dashboard 😯😯🀩πŸ₯³!! They're lit!
