Do you know how to create a .md file from a Fluent Form submission?
I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to create a .md file from a form submission. I know how to make a pdf using the pdf generator.
If you have done this (or know how), can you let me know?
WendyΒ Perkins ShoefΒ , Fluent Forms does not currently have a built-in option to generate a Markdown (.md) file from a submission.
If you are using Fluent Forms Pro, you can send the submission through the Webhook integration to a service such as Make or Zapier, then create a text file with an .md filename in Google Drive.
Otherwise, this requires a custom-coded implementation. Thanks!
Hi WendyΒ Perkins Shoef,
You can try this https://gist.github.com/dhrupo/834cf615143b1c06b21089d738315cd1
Paste the code into your theme's functions.php, or into a code snippets plugin like FluentSnippets.
Then open any entry under Fluent Forms β Entries. On the right sidebar you'll see a Markdown Download box just like PDF. Click the link to download that entry as a .md file, with the form ID, entry ID, submission date and every field's answer. Only users who can view entries can download them. Let me know if you need any changes.
Dhrupo NilΒ Awesome. Thanks. I'm gonna test this out probably later today.
