Website migration to different hosting company

What must I do with the CRM database if I migrate my website to a different host?

  1. How can I ensure that all the contacts, fluent plugins, fluent forms, and form data are migrated?
  2. If I need help with this effort, how can I get help? Can you please provide list of people you can refer me to for help?
  3. Where can I find your knowledge-based articles to help me prepare for my website migration?
  4. Where can I find your checklist or a test plan (if there are any) to help verify the migration is successful?

By the way, I'm delighted with the Fluent products.

I appreciate your support!

If you are doing a 1 to 1 migration meaning migrating the site entirely from one to another, then using a plugin like All In One WP Migration is easy to do, migrates the entire site and works seamlessly.

The only sure fire way to make sure though is doing it manually which is easier than it looks. But the plugin i mentioned achieves this easily.

Your new hosting provider should be able to handle the migration for you.

Ryk MelckΒ Do they need direct access to my server - login to y hosting service provider acccount?

Jose Luis Duron

Bernadette YuΒ Yes! It's a simple process, if you know how to do that. If you're migrating to a better hosting company, they will take care of your website.

I recommend you ALWAYS have an updated backup (All In One is a GREAT plugin to achieve that). You can download a copy of your website (using cPanel/FTP).

You can take a look of UpdraftPlus, too.

Bernadette YuΒ All-in-one is a great plugin. But if you have a large backup then you will need the premium option. So it all depends on the size of your backup.
