Unsubscribe
If I manually unsubscribe a contact (I don't want him getting any updates) - will he get notified with an email about him being unsubscribed?
No subscription status, means, no emails will be sent. So, I do not thing you will face any issue.
BUT, there could be 2 possible exceptions:
- You created an automation and checked the option "initiate even if not in suscribed status"
- External automation services - if you created any automation triggered by unsubscriptions.
Best way, is to check it yourself with a personal email of your own and see if you have any automations - in any case, FCRM emails, automations and so, will not "fire" by default for non-subscribers. Unless, as I mentioned, you changed that manually (eg. on FCRM automations, or outside with other services)
