Suggestion: Flexible sequence delays based on previous email timing

Shahjahan Jewel I’ve been exploring FluentCRM for creating email sequences, and I’m impressed with its functionality so far. However, I noticed something that could potentially make the user experience even better.

Currently, when setting up a sequence for new subscribers, the delay is calculated from the moment of subscription. For example, if I set a 1-day delay, the email is sent one day after the subscriber joins. While this works, I find it a bit limiting for certain use cases.

Would it be possible to introduce an additional option to calculate delays based on the timing of the previous email in the sequence, rather than the subscription date? This flexibility would make it easier to manage sequences that aren’t solely tied to subscription timing and allow for more customized workflows.

Thank you for considering this suggestion :)

I could be wrong but it might be best to use an automation for this. This way you have more control over the wait period before and email is fired.

Ryk Melck Hmm, in the sequence I now do have a set of e-mails. In the automation I tell when the set of emails in the sequence need to be send, and when it needs to be stopped or paused and with what conditions..
