Smart Links for SMS please!
Please add auto login and other smart link features that attach to the user's phone number and work on sms and whatsapp - or is there a way to do this already?
jane lawson Thank you for the suggestion. Smart Link auto-login currently works only when the link is clicked from a FluentCRM email campaign. We appreciate your request for Smart Link support in SMS and WhatsApp. I’ve forwarded this as a feature request to our R&D team.
Sujoy Chandra Das Thank you so much. It's important because SMS and WhatsApp reminders go to people who have not engaged with emails.
For company subscriptions I need to make sure users are engaged. So if I send them an SMS message, currently I can only say "check your emails" or send them a hyperlink that does not have auto login – and will discourage them as they then have to change their password and use their email account to do so.
My users are all English learners so also that is another complication in an SMS message - whereas clicking an auto login link would take them to a page with translations into their language
Many websites can have login by phone number – could this be done with Fluent Auth for example, and then the auto login SmartLink could work if the website uses Fluent Auth for login?
Currently, I do not use Fluent Auth on DailyStep English but will start doing so especially if this feature is included.
Could you please also forward this reply to the R&D team as I'd like them to know why it's so important to have auto login working in an SMS?
