pro license issues when running localswp for local development

has anyone solved the issue that I am having, using my pro version of most fluent products, and can't get updates or use them when developing locally on localswp?

My guess is that these sites are considered staging sites and updates have to be done manually after downloading the new version. Just install the downloaded version and you will need to confirm the overwrite.

I can't get the pro versions to work at all on the localwp. they won't activate since it is considering it a different url and I only have a single site license for all of them. seems like there could be a way for them to allow 127.0.0.1 as automatically allow.

JeffΒ A staging or test site will activate, but it needs to be clear in the name. It has to be online though to connect to the licensing server.

J VΒ  thanks, I was able to get the plugins working on the localswp. some of them, I had to reinstall with updated versions and re-activate. they were active, but wouldn't update. Not sure how their license server handles me activating on a private development server. Hopefully I won't have trouble now with my production server next time I need to update. Will see what happens in the future.
