Import existing members?

Hello! I want to import subscribers from another plugin (ARMember) to FluentCRM and FluentCart, and I cannot find a way in the fCRM CSV import options to indicate current membership status or expiration dates, only whether or not they are subscribed to a particular email list.

I thought about importing to FluentCart, since that's where subscriptions are managed, but there's no way to import there.

Is there a method to bring in existing subscriptions without doing it manually or losing all subscription information?

Or, can it be done manually? They have only a few hundred current subscribers /gulp/ and I'll make it work if I have to. But I need the fields, first. :)

I've done something similar in the past for importing. A high-level summary of what I did was to

  1. Break the exported list into two separate import files: Members and Non-members
  2. Import each list separately into FCRM assigning different tags and/or lists (I just use tags) to the members vs non-members.
  3. Once I have them in FCRM I can perform other actions on them based on the member / non-member tags.

You can also do various field mappings at that time.

However, as far as the subscription information for FluentCart, I'm not aware of any way to bring over existing subscriptions. When I've been faced with that issue (using SureCart) there was no (practical) way to bring over the subscriptions.

Norm Sash Thanks. I can assign tags, but I need to keep the subscription renewal dates. I can't cost the non-profit a year's worth of renewals by bringing in everyone with a new date!
