FluentCRM, Woocommerce checkout language choice

Hi, I am looking for some help... My client has Gtranslate installed for multilanguage, but now needs a way to capture the language somehow, so we can set a language tag or custom field in FluentCRM.

Is there any way to do this, maybe withe a codesnippet or something?

Can anyone help me with this? (I am not a developer)

hey! Natascha VantuykomΒ how did you made gTranslate work on your clients website? I tried putting it into Fluentcommunity but it doesn't work :/

TjaΕ‘a PeterleΒ my client does not use community.

I would love to see this work for community also

I am using Loco Translate for translation. I imagine you can then use the file with a language switcher.

J VΒ the only thing what I am trying to do, is on woocommerce checkout, detect the language and set a specific languagetag or a languagefield in FluentCRM

J V

Natascha VantuykomΒ You need a language switcher for that and set it to detect browser language. No need to do that inside your CRM. Woo has various translations ready for use.

J VΒ again, that is NOT what I need. The translation of the website and woo works as expected, I need a way to segment my customers by language, so I want to add a tag or fill a field according to the sitelanguage they were on on checkout

Natascha VantuykomΒ Ok I get it now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Don't have Pro versions at the moment, so cannot help you there.

Natascha VantuykomΒ This is a well-known problem with FluentCRM that has been ignored for years, unfortunately. It doesn't integrate with any multilingual plugin, so you can't set language-specific actions.

Robin BastianΒ I think this could be done with a code snippet, but unfortunately I'm not a coder, so I ask in here πŸ™‚
