FluentCRM with click-to-call?
Curious if there is an option/plugin to enable click-to-call function from contact profile page?
Click-to-call integrated with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system allows sales and support teams to initiate outbound phone calls by clicking on a contact's phone number directly within the CRM interface, eliminating the need for manual dialing.
There several software options that have soft dial pads but not sure if compatible with FluentCRM.
Any suggestions/feedback/tips please?
Are you talking about this feature on FCRM? When I click on the phone icon, it opens my phone app. It seems to solve the needs you ask for.
Yessss... this looks promising. Thank you very much. I had no clue it was there.. I understand FluentCRM is heavily focused on email marketing at its core, but they need to have some more info on this click-to-call feature. I spent hours looking..
Does it work on mobile and desktop? Any idea of best phone apps to integrate.. Twilio, Agora, Google voice phone? Best practices..?
Insta Net there are plenty of tools… so, I think this is more a matter of what kind of features you value more, and which is the best pricing structure for you.
One thing I can share “from the field” is to be specially cautious with your policies, and how you collect consent for calling.
Even when they are clients, you need specific consent for SMS and calls. And you could probably need proof of that consent.
Most forget this, and at least in the European market this usually creates expensive liability procedures regarding GDPR and electronic communications.
Same happens with the recordings of this calls.
Most softwares allow you to record. And a previous notice is compulsory. As well as systems and protocols of who and why an employee or collaborator may access those recordings.
