FluentCRM v3.0 sneak peek 🥳
Our team has been working on version 3 for the last several months. Our UX and Dev teams are working hard to build a super-efficient user experience for you.
I wanted to share the sneak peek, some early-stage UI updates, and what you can expect in version 3.
TLDR;
- The whole new UI & UX (full re-write)
- SMS module
- Improved Email Editor with lots of new features
- A solid foundation to match the whole Fluent Eco-System
Please check out the full post here: https://fluentcrm.com/whats-coming-in-fluentcrm-3-0/
Nice! Out of curiosity, will FluentCRM’s new email builder convert the regular Gutenberg HTML into email optimized HTML? Any chance GDPR compliant tracking will make it into FluentCRM 3.0, by the way? I’d love to enable tracking for some links to get better insights.
Thanks for yet another promising update to FluentCRM!
Karl Emil Nikka We are improving our Blocks to Email HTML (Table-based) compiler, so it will be much improved. We are also going to use the same compiler in FluentCart.
Regarding the tracking, I will message you in the coming weeks about the technical difficulties.
Shahjahan Jewel Great! Thanks!
Shahjahan Jewel Is there any way to get the emails in automations as transactionals?
It looks sooo awesome!!!!
This is so exciting! Been looking forward to this for a long time. This is going to be huge for you and for all users.
Sounds like a great version Shahjahan Jewel ! One question though: Will 3.0 resolve the issue reported in ticket #139515, when FluentCRM Pro broke compatibility with some clients (iOS and MS Office 2021) in all versions after 2.9.40, preventing them from displaying emails properly with these clients?
I don't mind which version fixes it, but it's been months and there is still no fix in sight in 2.9.x! I understand you've been busy with FluentCart and FluentAffiliate launches, but if FluentCRM is getting some TLC, please could you make sure this is fixed?
Nice improvements! FCRM is already awesome!
Please make sure you don't break the excellent RTL support that FluentCRM editor has :)
I would also like to see the option to send an API call if I'm not using Twilio for SMS and want to send through another provider that supports API calls.
As a deliverability professional, I can tell you that email platforms need to improve how they measure non-human interactions (NHI). Example - Apple MPP is bloating and masking email opens, and this phenomenon is massive. NHI also affects clicks, especially in the B2B environment.
Apple MPP is fairly easy to detect. It's well documented. Other bot clicks are difficult to identify in real-time. There is a solution for that. If you'd like me to connect you with this solution, DM me.
This is great - I'd be happy to help beta / test the new features
Omg this is awesome, I'm so excited! Thank you guys, for real, you're the best 🔥🔥
Hi
This post leaves me speachless 😶
WOW
You guys are doing the most amazing job on Wordpress i've ever seen in 15 years of working on Wordpress
Amazing features, amazing UI
and i'm delighted to hear Sales pipeline is soon coming ! (i highly recommend to take Pipedrive as a model as it is the best & most effective sales pipeline on the market, with their deals & activies system 👍 )
You will then have the best product on the market, by far
Keep up the good work 👍
And congrats !
Nicolas
Sounds great and looks nice. But I hope you also have had the time to correct some of the missing parts the current version have. Such as custom date fields so they can be used with other formats than US, more advanced conditions in automations with several dependencies and date calculation.
I wish Fluent UI was inline with WP, like this Figma, WordPress Design System. I love the features but everything looks bolted on. I understand that WP needs a UI refresh, but fact is this is the UI.
@jake WP's UI is now in a broken state. There are two types of UI in WordPress. The first one is a classic build before 2010, and another one is Gutenberg. We could build our plugins with the old UI. It's 2025 and the world is experiencing better UI and UX and we are following that. Also with this new UI, It's easier to switch from SAAS services.
Shahjahan Jewel this is a somewhat valid comment. However, the Fluent approach does not look native at all. Maybe it is just me and this should be disregarded. How well are objects classed? Can they be targeted with admin css to modify slightly?
Jake Hawkes You can definitely customize via CSS. UI choice is really so broad and with self hosted tools, you can customize and make it your own.
Shahjahan Jewel I think even just slight adjustments help. I agree that the admin UI is in two different places . I for example use a classic theme and blocks, it is a highly opinionated space for sure!
Shahjahan Jewel you are so right !
Shahjahan Jewel The problem with the two UI types is.... neither WP core nor plugins use variables. Your own interfaces are scattered and inconsistent. Sometimes they use variables, others they don't. And not all variables are called the same across plugins, so I have to through an individually style each interface and sometimes each page. I know design doesn't make the plugin function any better, so not much ROI there, and everyone has their own preferences, but it would be great if at least the Fluent plugins all used the same classes and/or variables and UI structure (consistent cards, buttons, tables, menus) -> which looks like it's going in that direction. Still noticing plugin-specific classes, like "fct-card-header" as an example, where fct is for fluent cart and fa is for fluent affiliate
No need for the SMS stuff, but the UI improvements look great! Looking forward to it.
Man!
You know how much I love FluentCRM! 😍
For me you can forget UX/UI development (it works for me as it is).
For me you can stop the SMS feature (in my country and most Latin America countries nobody give a sht to SMS).*
For me, and many more, Sales Pipeline is the top priority 🙏
(And no, for those who say FluentBoards can do the work, no. Maybe you never used a good sales pipeline with a SOLID deals process. This is for business).
And more flexibility on reporting/exporting capabilities are needed.
WhatsApp is must, definitively 🚀
Off course, I appreciate and I will take advantage of all this work and effort you're doing, but I'll still be expecting what I'm expecting... LOL
Jose Luis Duron +1 and i highly recommend to take Pipedrive as a model for the Sales Pipeline, as it is the best & most effective sales pipeline on the market, with their deals & activies system 👍
Jose Luis Duron +1 (Whats App is a must have in Europe, specifically Germany and also big follower of Sales Pipeline Priority)
Keep up the great work, I hope to see the 2 things soon!
+1 WHATSAPP is the future and social medias obviously.
SMS is not something people use in LATAM COUNTRIES,and USA either. I do not know about europe but I think they dont too.
Sales Pipeline i was using FluentBoards, its similar to sell pipeling but I feel i can become integrate better with FCRM or you may develop a specific one for FCRM. Waiting for it too
I can confirm here in Europe SMS are not really used anymore too (except sometimes for delivery notifications), people much prefer Whatsapp
Nicolas D also very expensive compared with usa
Jose Luis Duron Indeed, SMS is only used for appointment confirmations. WhatsApp, on the other hand, is essential in Europe as well. And pipelines, obviously. Furthermore, I'm struggling with Twilio's SMS service and setting up a phone number. In Belgium, it's $25/month!
Hmm, SMS Messages - I would hope to see a future integration with RingCentral.
Bryant Gibbons yes, I need a RingCentral integration too.
For me Sales Pipeline is a very low priority. I don't think I will use SMS marketing as well.
But email marketing improvements and the new UI/UX are very appreciated 😀
Keep up the good work!
Thank you.
The new UI is amazing, i love it, the same impressive UI as on Fluentcart
There's such a world between the bad UI of code snippets for instance compared to Fluent snippets (love it)
Suggestion: Native Integration with Unofficial WhatsApp APIs (e.g. Evolution API)
Hello FluentCRM team,
I’d love to see a native integration for unofficial WhatsApp APIs in the future.
Many of us would benefit from being able to notify leads both by email and WhatsApp, directly from within FluentCRM — similar to the Twilio integration, but allowing us to connect our own WhatsApp API credentials.
There are several reliable unofficial WhatsApp APIs available today that are widely used around the world and offer excellent documentation. One of the most popular and well-maintained is the Evolution API.
The Evolution API is developed by a Brazilian team but has English documentation, supports multi-device sessions, and provides webhooks and REST endpoints that make automation and integration incredibly flexible.
If FluentCRM could integrate directly with such APIs — or even better, offer compatibility across FluentCRM, FluentCommunity, FluentCart, and FluentSupport — it would drastically simplify workflows and reduce the need for complex webhook setups.
This would be a huge improvement for users who already rely on WhatsApp as a key communication channel with their leads and customers.
Thank you for considering this idea — it could make Fluent’s ecosystem even more powerful for international users. 🙏
This is fantastic news!
I have one tiny feature request. Can you please give us the option to use FluentCRM on the frontend like we can do with FluentSupport and FluentBoards? Shahjahan Jewel
I absolutely LOVE all this. One pain point I do have though is that if my website crashes (DB crashed recently for a whole day) so does my CRM + Community platform. Is there a way to mitigate this?
Also would love if I could keep formatting copied and pasted into the drag and drop email editor! <3 Either way, love what you're creating Jewel!
So exciting!
So the new SMS module, do we have to use Twilio, or can we use, say, SlickText (I already have been using them for years and they're great--and have an API too)?
I guess that being said, I see Twilio is super inexpensive...what SlickText brings is a nice UI. But if I am understanding correctly, that's basically what FluentCRM does, right? So there's no need to use a service like SlickText since it'll all be handled within FluentCRM for composing, sending and receiving SMS.
Looking forward to 3.0 with SMS! Bulk SMS, when used properly (and legally) is by far the most powerful marketing tool in existence with more than 96% verified delivery rate. I'm in the telecom biz and provide this service to my customers. Can't wait to see it built into FluentCRM!
Richard Gaustad not to mention far better open rates!
Frank Hurt Indeed! Pretty cool - I did NOT expect SMS built into the CRM but I think they made the right call to prioritize it.
Looking forward to adding front end control via shortcode!
I hope they have some new modules as well like countdown clock and CRM Sales Pipelines !
Amazing! reading this it feels like christmas came early! Are you going to release a limited lifetime license for this release? I would give my right leg for a crack at that!!!
Richard Sherman me too! Or at least a kidney.
Richard Sherman +1 to a lifetime license
Does FluentCRM v3 also bring a way to have different email footers? Especially helpful when you run different brands from one CRM.
Florian V. That’s also yet another reason for why we need list-based double opt-in, @jewel.
Florian V. Yes, or different languages for example
Will there be a browse abandonment trigger in the update?
SMS ❤️
Great! ❤️ Important question Shahjahan Jewel : Will the PHP API (Contact API, Tag API, ...) still work unchanged? That would be a dealbreaker because for clients I often use scripts that use these to assign tags, search for users that have specific tags, etc....
Rolf Krüger all the api will work as before.
Shahjahan Jewel love you! 🥰
Speaking of Fluent CRM.
With each update, each new feature, my feeling is: It was worth buying Fluent CRM.
I’m using it in all my projects.
I found this native SMS integration sensational.
Here in Brazil, WhatsApp usage is infinitely greater than SMS.
WhatsApp is ubiquitous in Brazil, used by 99% of the online population, with 147 million monthly users (https://agsup.click/xnf438).
When I saw the native SMS integration with Twilio and Amazon SNS integration, I immediately thought, there could be an option like that to configure the unofficial WhatsApp API (https://github.com/EvolutionAPI/evolution-api).
Or even documentation that allows replacing SMS with another API or something similar.
I would love to use the WhatsApp integration to communicate with people through Fluent CRM.
Look at Brazil with affection; it has a large community of people who use your solutions in their daily lives and in their clients’ businesses.
Amazing! Looking so much forward to it... What about celebrating this new release with a Lifetime Deal, even if it's only a couple of days? These new version deserves a LTD 🥳
I would like to see better integration with the rest of the ecosystem, but especially boards. It should be much easier to make it so when something happens in boards, something happens in crm and visa versa.
Damn! I've never been able to get Twilio working. Plus, it's more expensive than Direct7Networks. And Amazon is often a nightmare for Europeans. Anyway, it's cool. My biggest problem is the bug with the Google Calendar link. I can't block a date and time even though the time slot is available. If I create an appointment and then cancel it, the slot is no longer available.
DAVID MOUSSEBOIS literally! NEVER with the Twilio!! Why, I still don't know. Everything is legit. Not a fan of Amazon NS, but will try.
DAVID MOUSSEBOIS I have never been able to get twillio to work either.
Shahjahan Jewel with SMS coming, will it still be required for each contact to have an email address, or will we be able to add contacts using only a phone number?
In one of our projects, we currently use two systems, FluentCRM for email and another platform for SMS. The SMS system only requires a phone number, so we have a lot of contacts we’d like to import that don’t have email addresses. It’d be great to know if FluentCRM will support phone-only contacts once SMS is available.
Mike R this is very important things
Masiur Rahman Siddiki bhai, this is something we may need to consider.
Nazir Himel and Masiur Rahman Siddiki thanks for the consideration. I hope this is something that can be implemented.
Mike R Was going to ask the same thing! 😜
Mike R email is a wordpress requirement! a work around I've read somewhere is to assign sequential (or not) dummy emails (login authentication not required I hope).
Debo Ogunrinde You don't have to sync CRM contacts to/with WP users though....
Dominic Osborne okay, maybe I mispoke...
Debo Ogunrinde sorry just saw this but Dominic Osborne answered correctly. Contacts aren't necessarily WP users.
Mike R I know but email marketing requires emails…my take is that if you don’t require emails when using fluentcrm, use a different tool?
Debo Ogunrinde absolutely, need the emails for email marketing... and FCRM (till now, don't know about the v3 SMS update) requires every contact in the CRM to have an email ID, as the whole record revolves around that. But the point otherwise is that these can be entirely within the CRM, and not as Wordpress users. I've got a site built with .... woah, I just checked... almost 15,000 contacts in. They are all with email, collected either via Fluent Form connection, or CSV import from a Facebook generated list. None of them have a Wordpress user.
What I would like to know is, if version 3 will allow a contact records to also revolve around a mobile phone number only, and not require email address but make email optional.... As we can easily collect leads with just SMS number but no email address.
We'll see...! :D
Nazir Himel Masiur Rahman Siddiki seeing that the beta for 3.0 has been released, is this still being considered, any plans to implement Phone # only contacts?
We have about 5400 contacts in FluentCRM and about 430 of them we have phone numbers which is great.
But, we have another 2000 contacts in a list with phone numbers only, We were not able to import because we have no email, We would like to bring into our CRM and have everything in one place.
Debo Ogunrinde yes, email marketing requires emails but SMS marketing requires phone numbers. FluentCRM is now adding SMS marketing.
But one of the functions of a CRM is to have all customer data in one place and the ability to build that profile over time.
I might get someone's email today and their phone number tomorrow. But that can happen in reverse where I get their phone number only and still want to communicate with them some people prefer that in fact, especially nowadays.
Shahjahan Jewel are there any updates or enhancements to the Automation Builder?
Wait until a date, arithmetic on custom field values, trigger goals with custom field value changes, or multi-branch/condition logic? Just a few I was hoping to see.
Seems like UI, reporting, and SMS are the bulk of the new version. Which btw I DO like.
For SMS, can there be automations / action trigger to 'read' an SMS response (such as Yes/No) from a contact, and then to trigger next automation steps depending on that response?
The SMS automation will be the PERFECT solution to a problem I have had with Gmail and Yahoo sending all my urgent customer alerts to Spam. When will it be launching?????
i have this error
Carlo Peralta Do you have Object Cache installed?
Carlo Peralta I had same issue, it was working after following steps:
- I deleted license key in settings
- Clear object cache
- Add license key
- Clear object cache again
- Do update again
Shahjahan Jewel I think we need object cache exclusion/flush for that ;)
Kevin Heinrichs dont work for me...but thanks...i asked for a support ticket
Do you think the stable version will roll out before the holidays?
