FluentCRM automation doesn’t create user or apply tags in Fluent Community

I created an automation in FluentCRM Pro that's supposed to do the following:

  1. A user fills out a Fluent Forms form
  2. The data is sent to FluentCRM
  3. A new WordPress user is created with a predefined password
  4. The user receives a specific tag in Fluent Community
  5. The user is added to the correct space/community area

But currently:

  • The user is not created
  • The predefined password is ignored
  • No tag is applied
  • No space assignment happens in the Community

I also tried a reverse automation — when a user is created in WordPress, assign a tag and add to space — that didn’t work either.

How can I debug this?
Who can help me check why the automation isn't working?

Not sure if you have figured this out yet.
First, I find it easier to have automations be triggered off of a tag. Makes it easier for testing. So as long as the Fluent CRM integration is set up correctly with Fluent Forms, I've never had an issue with an automation getting started.

Then it's easier to see in the automation at which step it's failing.
