Thanks for fixing the Gravatar/UI-avatar compliance issue and for adding the fluent_crm/default_avatar filter (which can be used for contact avatars even though the name implies that it should be used for the default fallback avatar).
It looks like the refactored list-unsubscribe header still unsubscribes the contact from all lists (it should only unsubscribe the contact from the current list).
Karl Emil NikkaΒ The unsubscribe is not actually list based. So there has no list based subscriber status. So once someone unsubscribed it unsubscribed from the main data point.
Shahjahan JewelΒ Yes, thatβs the way it currently behaves. To make FluentCommunity work as it should according the RFC, FluentCRM must first check if the contact is subscribed to multiple lists. If the contact is subscribed to only one list, the specified list should get removed and the subscription status should switch to βunsubscribedβ. If the contact is subscribed to multiple lists, the specified list should get removed but the subscription status should remain unaffected.
Shahjahan JewelΒ It would of course be even better if subscription status was connected to the list, not the contact. It would also make it possible to set custom double opt-in messages, let alone having double opt-in for contacts who already are subscribed to a list.
Shahjahan JewelΒ Is it not possible for the email to have the list ID that it was sent under added as a variable to the unsubscribe link, then the php logic would unsubscribe the contact if only one list exists, and just delete that list from the user if multiple lists exist for that user, thus unsubscribing from the specific marketing sub list, e.g. for a specific product promotion?
Surely an unsubscribe php function could handle that logic?
I would say that's an important email marketing feature.
Shahjahan JewelΒ I think this is absolutely crucial! I have multiple lists, e.g. for people who subscribe to our general newsletter, to the specific newsletter for jobs, and for our members. If a member unsubscribes from the e.g. jobs newsletter and thereby looses access to the member newsletter as well, that would be quite bad. As outlined by Karl Emil NikkaΒ and Sean JohnsonΒ the (un)subscription really needs to be list based, not user based! Ideally, there should be an overview of all subscribed lists for the user on the front-end where they can manage their subscription! Quite surprised this isn't the case so far...
Philip StrothmannΒ I agree. I have mine set up the same way and now I dont know how to give them the option to customize what lists they are on.
Philip StrothmannΒ i agree !
Shahjahan JewelΒ Any comment on this issue? It's really totally counterintuitive for users to unsubscribe from ALL emails rather than just from the list they are interested in. This is a huge issue for anyone operating multiple lists with Fluent CRM. Can this issue be added to the roadmap or do you not see the need to address this at all?
Shahjahan JewelΒ , this behavior is similar to the much-hated ActiveCampaign behavior of unsubscribing a contact from all lists if they just unsubscribed from an email link.
It was one of the top requested Active Campaign issues to fix - which they finally did after a number of years. Hopefully it won't take FC years to put in better unsubscribe / list behavior.
Shahjahan JewelΒ actually fluentcrm provides a trigger to assign a badge but not to remove one. Is it possibile to implement it?
Man!
There are so many things on this update!
Even tho I don't rely on and will not use the "never open/clicked", is a feature that many users were asking for (my lists clean themselves when people unsubscribe).
I love the new export capabilities!
Well, I'm not planning back to ActiveCampaign, but the "auto-create tags" will help the migration process for those who discover the light on FluentCRM π
I'm trying to digest how can I use the "Restart Remove from List Automation Funnels", thing...
The new "Spammed" status is something that I didn't need, but it is good to have it.
I think the "Automation Label Color" will help us to organize our workflow (it's a workaround to the "folders" feature we've been asking for).
The bug fixes are always welcomed.
So now PLEASE, I'm going to take this reply to recall the feature I requested previously (as many as I ask frequently): Allow us to set ONE CUSTOM TEMPLATE as our default template ππΌ
And obviously, you know that I'll leave you alone for a while when you release our most waited and beloved "sales pipeline".
Thanks Shahjahan JewelΒ and team for the hard work! ππΌππΌππΌ
Jose Luis DuronΒ we also wait for the sales pipeline, like our current pipedrive CRM does so well : simple and nice, when can we expect to see this in fluent CRM ?
- Supercharge your workflow with Quick Search in Automation Actions, Benchmarks, and Goals
What does this actually mean and where can I go for more information?
Will this use case be supported? I need to have someone fill in their email in a form and click submit. The action will search the fcrm db for that email address. If found, they'll be directed to an event registration. If not found, theyβll be directed to a signup form.
Or is this merely a means to build an automation by searching for an action rather than selecting from a list?
Hi Shahjahan Jewel, thank you for this update. Please would you be able to give those of us who are heavily invested in Fluent products (has lifetime subscription for 6) the opportunity to buy lifetime subscription for FluentCRM? I would love to pay for lifetime for FluentCRM. Thanks in advance for your response.
Hi Shahjahan JewelΒ I'm a bit confused with the feature "Fetch WooCommerce Order Item Product Images" in the latest blog post here: https://fluentcrm.com/fluentcrm-2-9-40/
In the description you speak about the shortcode {{woo_order.order_items_table}} but the screenshot there is showing an abandoned cart where the table is rendered with the shortcode {{ab_cart_woo.cart_items_table}}.
Hi Barnabas Chris, that was a mistake. Please check now. :)
Nazir HimelΒ One of the important issues I raised and followed up few times was that the emails for abandoned carts are displaying prices without tax. In Australia, this is not legally permitted, as all displayed prices must include tax. It is essential that the abandoned cart emails reflect the total price, including tax, to comply with Australian regulations.
Could you please confirm if this has been fixed in this update?
Hey Manoj, our developers are working on it. I will send you a beta as soon as itβs done. Please allow us some time.
