Expiring Links
I have a client request. He wants to send automated emails with links that expire after a set period (e.g., 7 days).
I'm not sure whether another service does this today, but it's something we could do in FluentCRM.
I think this would be a really nice addition to the current Smart Links features!
It could be very handy for marketing campaigns, temporary offers, redirects, launches, and so on.
I remember using this quite a lot back in the good old days of Thrive Ultimatum π
Smart Links can already be created programmatically via:
POST /wp-json/fluent-crm/v2/smart-links
and updated via:
PUT /wp-json/fluent-crm/v2/smart-links/{id}
So something like:
Create Smart Link β Delay until __ β Disable/Delete Smart Link
should already be technically quite close.
Having this natively in the Automation Builder (or simply adding an expiration date to Smart Links ) would be a really nice and probably not overly complex addition.
Jorge de los ReyesΒ that's a great idea Jorge... Shahjahan JewelΒ Could you guys consider adding this feature to the smart links to make them even smarter? Thanks!
It was VERY popular (trend) on pandemic time with the old launches.
It can be done with DYNAMIC LINKS (link before specific date/time and second link after that time/date).
I achieve that with Mailtimer (I catch the dynamic link and use it. Obviously it's a Pro feature).
P.S. I know it can be done with a couple of hours with an AI agent, but I prefer waiting if WPMN develop that. Meanwhile, Mailtimer is my solution.
Jose Luis DuronΒ Thanks for letting me know about Mailtimer. I'll check it out.
