Email Sequence email sent outside of defined time range
I configured an email sequence email to only send between 8am and 5pm (see screenshot).
During testing, I enrolled a contact in the sequence at 5:42pm and the first email was sent immediately.
Per my understanding, this email should have been delayed until 8am the following morning.
Am I doing something wrong here?
Jose Luis Duron Thank you. The WordPress time zone is set to UTC−05:00 (EST), but the server time is set to UTC-+00:00.
Are you saying that Fluent CRM could be using the Server's time zone to determine whether to send an email within the time range, rather than the WordPress time zone?
As additional info, all of the email logs in Fluent CRM are showing the WordPress time zone.
Jeremy Moll MY WordPress' time is ALWAYS set to my timezone. I don't care about the server time. What matters to me is WordPress time. That's the time FluentCRM will use.
Jose Luis Duron same here. So that's why I'm confused as to why Fluent CRM sent the email outside of the time range (according to the WordPress timezone)
Jeremy Moll Maybe it's time to open a ticket and tomorrow (is Sunday for me) support team help you.
BTW, did you check if the cron is working well?
Jose Luis Duron Ticket was opened, we'll see what comes back on it.
Yes, cron is configured per Fluent CRM documentation recommendations.
Thanks for your input!
This is still not resolved - I also just enrolled contacts onto an Email Sequence (which should have sent the emails instantly) but these have instead been scheduled for 4 hours in the future.
This leads me to think that Fluent CRM is disregarding the WordPress time zone and using the server's time zone instead?
I may need to just avoid the time range feature altogether here.
