ElasticEmail Bounces are NOT Unsubscribing Contacts & Support is Useless

I am typing this while trying my absolute hardest not to smash my keyboard into pieces. My wife is literally staring at me with wide eyes right now because she can see how furious I am with this situation.

Here is the problem: The ElasticEmail integration is failing to unsubscribe contacts when a bounce occurs.

I have done all the troubleshooting myself. I checked my Nginx server logs. I verified that the webhook requests are successfully hitting the correct endpoint provided by FluentCRM. The connection is established, the data arrives at the server, everything is green on the network side.

But FluentCRM simply ignores the event. It receives the data and does absolutely nothing. The contact status remains "Subscribed" even after a bounce. This is critical for list hygiene, and it is just not working.

I opened a ticket providing detailed technical information, explaining that I already verified the logs and that the request is reaching the plugin. And what response do I get? A generic, copy-paste reply telling me to "read the documentation" and "test with webhook.site".

They clearly did not read a single word of what I wrote. It is insulting to provide technical information and get a "did you check the settings?" response.

I just replied to them demanding they actually read my ticket and escalate this to a developer, but I am at my wits' end.

Is anyone else dealing with this broken integration? Is there any way to get a real human to look at the code instead of these automated support bots?

Can you read this Shahjahan JewelΒ ?

Thanks

I will check their webhook payload. Most probably, they changed the Payload structure. Can you disable the webhook and create a new webhook in the elastic mail?

Shahjahan JewelΒ Yes, sure...

Shahjahan JewelΒ  I submitted a ticket as well noticing that bounce via Amazon SES wasn't updating. Support suggested that it may have been a soft bounce vs hard. I don't know how to check that. But I have received similar bounce emails earlier this year that did indeed update as a bounce.

Janice BennettΒ They're experts at politely pushing the problem back to the customer. Canadian-level politeness, but still blaming us!

Eduardo SachsΒ WPmanageNinja has multiple support reps on each ticket, which means your ticket could get escalated to the right person. I’ve found good results with persistence. Of course I’m a software engineer by trade, it sounds like you’re also competent with technical issues.
