DIY Bounce Handling with webhooks?

I'm using Emailit via SMTP, which currently lacks a native bounce handling integration.

Someone claims to have "set up a webhook in Suretriggers to unsubsribe a subscriber after a hard bounce"

Ideally without SureTriggers, how do I setup a bounce handler for a non-supported email service like Emailit?

I'd love to know this too. Does anything other than paid Suretriggers work? ie: bitintegrations, bitflows, Pabbly, IFTTT, uncanny automator, etc?
