Building a preference center for subscribers (list opt in/out)
Hi all,
I have FluentCommunity, FluentCRM and FluentForm.
I would like to build a form that allows my subscribers to opt in and out of FluentCRM lists so that they can indicate what they prefer to receive from me.
Is there any easy way to do this using FluentForm and FluentCRM?
Thanks!
If I understand your question correctly, FluentCRM has this built in. You don't even need Fluent Forms.
Go to FluentCRM Settings -> Email Settings
Under "Can a subscriber manage list subscriptions?", choose "Contact can see all lists and manage subscriptions"
Then you can enable the shortcode and use [fluentcrm_pref] to show the form.
See screenshot
Aaron Liang βΒ Perfect! Thank you so much!
Aaron Liang βΒ Do you know if thereβs a way to customise the colours and design of the form in [fluentcrm_pref]? I couldnβt find it anywhere in the fluentcrm settings area.
Christopher MatchΒ I donβt see any styling control in the settings either. Now I see why you want to use Fluent Forms π
Might have to use custom CSS.
Aaron Liang βΒ Maybe I need a workaround. Thanks. Shahjahan JewelΒ , any suggestion?
This customisation would have to be enabled across the entire fluentcrm preference and manage email subscription footer journey.
Aaron Liang βΒ is there a way to do this with tags and not just lists? I ask because it looks like the conditonal sections in the email builder uses tags for filtering. I would like to be able to draft one email and filter out certain things if a person has selected they dont want that
Lindsay WarneΒ not that I'm aware of
is there a way to insert the smart code into the visual email editor?
Shahjahan JewelΒ , can we get some help on customising the look and feel of [fluentcrm_pref]? When the page loads, I could see that the form inherits my themeβs design, but it then loads the predefined FluentCRM colour scheme.
This makes the form provide an off-brand experience in my website. Can you advise if we should request this as a bug fix or feature enhancement?
