WordPress Role Assignment Feature Request

Hi team,

I need a clear confirmation regarding membership role management in FluentCart.

My requirement is simple:

  • When a user purchases a subscription/membership product → assign a specific WordPress role.
  • When that subscription expires, cancels, fails to renew, or is refunded → automatically revert the user back to the default role.

Right now this is not supported natively, and I do not want to rely on FluentCRM or external automations for such a core membership function.

Can you confirm whether this feature will be added directly inside FluentCart?
And if yes, is there any timeline or roadmap for native role assignment + role reversion based on subscription lifecycle events?

This is a critical requirement for deciding whether FluentCart is suitable for my membership system.

This can be easily done with FluentCRM. But if you don’t want to use any plugin then maybe a code snippet will work.

This is the subscription repeated action hook.

Using FluentCRM or a custom snippet is workable, but having native role assignment and automatic role reversion directly inside FluentCart would make the membership flow far more reliable and streamlined.

If possible, please consider adding this to the FluentCart roadmap. It’s a core lifecycle feature for our membership sites.
