Unlock Hidden Products π : Secret Offers for Selected Customers
Hi FluentCart Team, π
First of all, congratulations on your amazing work β FluentCart keeps getting better and better! ππ»
Iβd love to suggest a small but powerful feature: the ability to create βsecretβ products that are published but not visible on the main shop page. These products would only be accessible:
- via a direct link, or
- based on a FluentCRM tag or authorization condition.
This would be incredibly useful for offering exclusive or hidden products to specific customers or segments.
Thanks again for your great work and continuous improvements!
Warm regards,
JM π
Good idea.
I was about to make a request for this as well, but "Secret" is not a very good status name. It should be "Hidden" or "Private" if you want to be consistent with the WordPress naming convention.
In addition, the option to mark a product as Hidden or Private should be available at both the parent and variation level. This can be very useful for digital products with multiple tiers that do not need to be displayed on the frontend.
Also, please change the "Publish" status to "Published".
"Publish" is an action that can be taken. "Published" is a status.
I know this is something small in the grand scheme of things, but grammar is important! π
Eusebiu OprinoiuΒ you're right. Accurately reflecting the purpose of any term through correct word choice is significant.
Eusebiu OprinoiuΒ Good catch!
Eusebiu OprinoiuΒ I've spotted some more grammatical errors throughout the interface. One of them is "Refund" on the overview page, it should be "Refunded".
I noticed multiple issues as well.
Another one that is displayed a lot is "$PRICE per year until cancel". It should be "$PRICE per year until cancelled".
Hopefully, all these issues will be resolved in the coming months.
It would be nice if we could report all these issues to a GitHub repo.
Eusebiu OprinoiuΒ We can report them here and I'm sure they'll fix them. For a non native English team they've done a great job. Just a few grammatical mistakes and sentences that could flow better.
