Surecart Migration
Any news on how could be the process of migrating:
- clients
- Products
- And… more importantly… subscriptions!

I can't address your question but I love the gif! It's so me (and probably many of us) with large tech projects.
Charlotte D many of us I guess 😅
Hopefully we can see some insights on this soon!
I’ve seen post regarding Surecart, Woo… and more.
So I’m sure it’ll be recurring!
My understanding is that Surecart is not easy because of all the information being stored on their servers and not ours.
Wishing I hadn't spent so much on my Surecart LTD ☹️
Jonathan Gwyer welcome to the LTD collector crew! 🫡♥️
I love surecart though!
But, yes. Apparently, the API rate limit for migration was among the causes of this being a little bit tricky.
However any idea on how to do this… will be perfect. Because I am sure many won’t care in conducting manual processes.
We just want a “how to” haha :)
Jorge de los Reyes yes, a manual process is fine if there are some good docs - I happily migrated all my MemberPress clients over to SureCart subscriptions, so hopefully there will be an option to do the same to FluentCart.
Because there's always room for one more LTD 😁
Jonathan Gwyer hahaha Fantastic!
I migrated some subs from Thrivecart. Also manually.
The process was so smooth!
So hopefully we can do the same the other way 😄
Migrating from SureCart might be tricky because the Stripe account connected to SureCart is managed by SureCart. If you connect Stripe to FluentCart you can use your existing account. That means, to migrate, you need to move products, prices, subscriptions from one Stripe account to another creating new IDs. These IDs need to match with the products in FluentCart. I do not expect an automated migration for this. I will move them over manually, and let users confirm - I guess.
Andre Daus yep! We will have to check that…
