Subscriptions in free version?

Hi, I'm testing the beta, both free and pro, but I wonder, are subscriptions included in free?

I am able to create a subscription product in free, but when I buy it, it hangs, while with pro enabled, the payment goes through.

So is this a bug/glitch or something else?
