🔥 Reviews Are Finally Here - The Biggest FluentCart Update Yet
This is one of the biggest FluentCart releases so far (version 1.7.0), and I'm super excited about it.
We just shipped Product Reviews, and I honestly think it's the most complete reviews module in any WordPress eCommerce plugin. You don't need an extra plugin or a third-party service. Just turn it on and it works.
Until now, if you wanted good-looking reviews on a WordPress store, you had to buy one add-on for photo reviews, another one for layouts, and then fight with styling that didn't match your store. We wanted to make this simple.
What you get:
- Star ratings and reviews linked to real purchases, with a Verified Purchase badge
- Reviews show which variation the customer actually bought
- A "My Reviews" section in the customer dashboard, showing what they've reviewed and what's still waiting
- A "Review Your Order" link, so customers can leave a review in one click
- A moderation screen where you can approve, reject and reply
- Email notifications for new reviews, approvals and replies
- Star ratings on product cards across your shop
- 6 review blocks: Product Reviews, Review List, Review Summary, Review Form, Write a Review Button and Product Rating
- JSON-LD schema, so Google can show your stars in search results
With Pro, you also get:
- Photo reviews
- Helpful votes and a "Most Helpful" sort
- Threaded replies between you and your customers
- Ready-made layouts: Minimal List, Card Grid, Carousel, Testimonials and photo-focused styles, each one click to apply

Congratulations! this looks like a FANTASTIC update: variation-specific reviews and the new layouts!
Two questions:
(1) will video reviews be supported, ideally through FluentPlayer, including importing existing customer videos? ; And
(2) Could FluentCart review requests or review forms be embedded or triggered through Fluent Forms?
Also, we are considering migrating from different client stores (UE), we would also appreciate clarification on whether test orders have separate numbering from live invoices (or if planned to improve the test order system), and which PDF is intended to be the final tax invoice rather than a receipt. These distinctions are important for EU stores. I posted about this in the community in case more info is needed :)

Shahjahan Jewel Congrats on FC 1.7.0! It's great to have reviews integrated to FluentCart for products sent through FluentCart, but before we can move from our current testimonials plugin (Strong Testimonials), we'd need to be able to have a structure that allows our users to leave testimonials for products not sold through FluentCart. For example, our workshops are B2B sales, so users never pay for their seat through our website (it's usually free to them), yet we want their testimonials about their experience. Currently, FluentCart reviews and testimonials only cover B2C transactions. Can you support B2B transactions as well? Otherwise, we'll have to keep Strong Testimonials, because it allows us to handle both B2B and B2C customers. Books testimonials on Amazon are covered by SocialNinja, so it's really B2B users that we need to support. Please let me know if you'd like me to send you more details about what we need, but looking at Strong Testimonials should give you a good idea. I like Jorge de los Reyes suggestion to handle video reviews (integration with FluentPlayer) and reviews left through FluentForms, as that could be part of supporting our B2B testimonials needs.

Nice! Unfortunately for us, we spent a lot of time building our own custom review plugin for Fluent Cart last month. I should probably have checked the roadmap for Fluent Cart before committing to that project.

Great idea, and I'm pleased to see it, but the shortcode doesn't render in a Bricks shortcode element. I also tried it, just for fun, in a Basic Text and Code element... no joy.
