Paymattic's future?
What is the future of Paymattic, now that FluentCart is so successful? Will it still be developed? Asking because I need to recommend a system for donations, and I don't want to recommend something that will be abandoned or fall behind on development. Thank you
I suggested add some features like
- buy a coffee
- recurring invoicing...
- all payment related features that business needs
I saw a discussion on Reddit today where some people suggested Paymattic as a replacement for GiveWP, now that Liquid Web screwed the pooch. I would expect Paymattic is still a useful plugin, as not everyone needs FluentCart for their payment gateway.
William Beem It's a much better deal than GiveWP. I threw away GiveWP and started using Fluent Forms instead, about a year ago. But FF lacks some of Paymattic's specific features.

TBH I'm a bit surprised about a dedicated team, since Fluent Forms and Fluent Cart and Paymattic could share code on forms and payments.
Lee Busch Well...Paymattic’s positioning is very clear. It’s built for simple payments and donations.
If you want to sell something simple and run subscriptions without setting up a full eCommerce system, there should be options for that. Not everyone needs a dedicated eCommerce platform just to sell tiered subscriptions. Paymattic fills that gap.
When it comes to donations, Paymattic is very capable. It includes dedicated donation progress bars, donor dashboards, and donor leaderboards. These are features you typically won’t find in standard form plugins.
And all of that comes with a form style interface that’s incredibly easy to use, with plenty of integrations and native payment gateways.
I think Paymattic is a very exciting plugin to try out for these specific use cases.

wanted a give it a try today and was about to pay for 3 dollars or so a month (when migrating from givewp); was asked to pay 139 dollars, which is over 4 times the amount expected. So I don't trust the product at all. That's simple theft
